On March 21, 2025, second-year students of the Child Development Program at Tarsus University Vocational School of Health Services visited the Tarsus District Public Library as part of the “Children’s Literature and Media” course. During the lesson held in the library environment, students examined various illustrated children’s books, experiencing a practical learning process. Focusing particularly on themes of gender and science and mathematics, the students evaluated the books using specific analysis codes and conducted content analysis from a child development perspective. The activity helped students gain analysis skills based on literature in the field and also encouraged the use of the library.
